Whether on foot or by bike in spring, summer and autumn, whether on skis or by sledge in winter: there is a lot to discover in and around the Stiftland at any time of the year.

For those who are health conscious, we recommend the nearby Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad. 10,000-year-old water for the drinking cure, exercise pool, radon baths and natural fango are just a few of the many health-promoting options in this medically recognized bath house. There you can feel the power of nature up close and absorb it directly, allowing you to regenerate your mind and body intensively and permanently. In the monastery town of Waldsassen alone, the historical roots go back to the 12th century. Culture lovers can look forward to concerts in the Waldsassen monastery basilica and a visit to the Cistercian abbey with its magnificent monastery library.

Also visit the open-air rock theater on the Luisenburg. Day trips to the Bohemian Marienbad and Karlsbad, to Eger with its old imperial castle or to Prague are highly recommended. Ask us – we will be happy to give you tips and information for your leisure time activities.
